Rejected petition Life imprisonment to mean LIFE for terroist attacks
More details
We need a change in the law:
Life inprisonment sentences for terrorism offences should mean "Life without parole".
As we will never be granted the death penalty for acts of murder or terrorism we should be secure in the belief that when convicted of such offences, the perpetrator(s) should be given "Life without parole".
The recent event in Woolwich shows that we have no deterrent. Maybe this will not deter all attacks like this but when the individuals receive the sentence the public will know that they will never be able to destroy anyone elses lives...
