The way event tickets are bought and re-sold at many times their face value needs to be addressed in order to stop touts buying up huge quantities and making vast profits at the expense of true fans.

All tickets should be sent out with the names and addresses of attendees, and should be produced along with ID at the event for entrance.

Any tickets which cannot be used (due to other commitments etc,) should automatically go back to the original vendor for a full refund (minus any processing and postage fees), to be re-sold to the public at face value.

This would end the current trend of events selling out in minutes, only to find tickets listed online for over ten times the face value,on the same day, as touts would no longer be able to profit from the practice.
