The first step in a bid to build a better partnership between medics and patients, we request that GP's, Nurses and Doctors offer to turn their computer screen to face the patient during consultations. This will help build trust, enable better understanding for the patient about their personal healthcare plan and encourage questions and information sharing, cutting down on the dangerous trend of secrecy in the NHS as reported in the Francis Report, February 2013.
