This petition was submitted during the 2010-2015 parliament
Petition For ALL members of the House of Lords to have an active direct email address
More details
A large proportion of Peers do not have a direct email address. This means people who wish to lobby Peers have to email the central Lords address, which sternly informs them that the address is not for lobbying multiple Lords.
If Peers are appointed to serve us and draw from allowances and expenses paid for by the taxpayer, at the very least it should be expected for them to have a direct email address with which they can answer to the electorate.
