Rejected petition A motorway is no place for a Wetherspoons or any other pub

Each month in Great Britain 23 people are killed and 108 people are seriously injured by drivers over the drink-drive limit.

On a motorway, impaired reaction can have even greater consequence. Do we really need any more temptation or opportunity for alcohol and drivers or passengers to mix?

A single death attributed to this ridiculous idea is one too many.
