Closed petition Legalise euthanasia for persons with terminal illness

i would like you the goverment to think again about euthanasia,

i have witnessed first hand the painful and slow death of my mother who had been fighting cancer for over 12 years, and was taken away from us last year with a very aggressive form of bowel cancer....we watched her die very slowly day by day...

the effect it has had on the family was a very painful one...

i would like all the terminally ill patients to have the chance to have a quick dignified death, rather than their family's watch them die slowly...

if it was your pet you would take it to the vets to be put to sleep and have no pain,

so why not us humans have that option to end their lives
