HMRC should accept American Express as a method of payment for its various online bill payments service (Corporation Tax, Self Assessment, VAT.)

HMRC already accepts Visa and Mastercard payments whilst passing on the merchant fees to the person paying. The exact same option should be available to people who wish to settle their accounts with HMRC via an American Express card.
