Petition HMRC should have responsible Gov Minister
More details
A Government Minister should be made responsible for HMRC. This would mean a new department with perhaps one Minister for personal tax and one for Company tax. This would ensure that the HMRC are answerable to a Minister or Ministers and in turn to the UK Public. At the moment they answer to no-one within Government and can make judgements with no scrutiny. UK Boder Agency has been brought back into Gov why not HMRC.
