Petition Save Coulsdon, it's children's safety, education places

Stop Croydon Council being able to grant planning permission to any of the areas that form part of the Coulsdon Masterplan, particularly Cane Hill and Lion Green Road Car Park.

We believe that formal planning applications will be received before the full assessment of increased traffic, education needs, in particular the impact on the neighbouring schools and school places, doctors and neighbouring stakeholders have all been properly addressed and made available to the public and interested parties.    

Replies on traffic and education requirements have not been robust, the schools have no understanding of the plan and the education department has confirmed they have not engaged the schools nor will they do so as part of Cane Hill planning application. Local residents groups are unable to get answers to important questions.

We seek an independent authority to preside over planning applications to ensure that there is adequate and appropriate consultations.
