Closed petition Give our Militry personnel and their family priority to housing once they have left the forces ,

Closed on

The government have cut the armed forces by 20,000 plus yet they have no housing for the soldiers who lose their homes. This often does result in families seperating. So not only does the arverage soldier have to cope with losing his job and his home he now faces losing his wife and children. We want the government to stop the councils holding back housing for immigrants or asylum seekers and use these for the soldiers that are being made homeless . Here us just a few the "Government and "MOD" and local councils have failed . http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/iraq-afghanistan-veteran-loses-family-1733142. http://www.thecourier.co.uk/news/local/fife/decorated-fife-soldier-faces-homelessness-after-army-redundancy-1.68057 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-557794/Wounded-soldier-forced-live-tent-homeless-local-council-return-Iraq.html.
