Closed Update the child sexual abuse/interferance laws

Our Law needs to be updated to allow the judge to hand out punishments to offenders of all "child related" offences, the Law should reflect the 21st c's idea of an educated civilized society.
The Law should be clear about the responsability and choice of the perpetrator "v" consequences of their actions, the Law needs to rule on zero tolerance on this subject.

Updated proposals are that....
1)"Life" meaning life.
2) Minimum of 2 years per offence with no parole.
3) No accused should be named until proven guilty.

Our society is reflected by the strength of our civilization and our Law our moral guide. If our Laws are contradictory, is it supprising that there is only be contempt left?
