Petition The Prime Minister supports a law to jail reckless Bankers - This petition requests a similar law for reckless Politicians.

"Bankers who are reckless with customers' or taxpayers' money could face criminal charges and have bonuses and pensions clawed back, according to proposals backed by the prime minister."

This petition is to get MPs to look at themselves first and recommends a similar law to apply to MP's who are reckless with the Economy (Taxpayers money) , Foreign affairs (think dodgy dossier) or similar issues that have wide felt impacts on Society.

In the same way that pensions / bonuses could be clawed back from Bankers to force them to take a long term view rather than going for short term gain this should apply to Politicians too to prevent them focussing on short term populist measures to help their re-election and rather focus on making decisions based on bettering society over a longer timeframe.
