Closed petition Buzzards
Closed on
We the undersigned are aware of the recent decision to licence the destruction of Buzzard nests, according to the wishes of a shooting enterprise.
We regret this decision and request that no further licences to kill, injure or disturb birds of prey are issued, that all pending licence applications are refused, any existing licences revoked with immediate effect, and request that licences are no longer issued to kill birds of prey or damage their nests, under any circumstances.
Birds of prey require the full protection of the law, and there should be no circumstances in which they can legally be killed or disturbed. We call on the government to immediately provide full protection to all wild birds of prey, and make no 'licences' available to kill or disturb them, under any circumstances. [
