With the recent revelations over under-cover policing, in the wake of several other scandals such as mark kennedy and payments to police, a full enquire in needed into the way under cover policing is conducted, particulary in special branch.

The enquiry should also look into general police accountability, as public trust in the police is at an all time low and few officers have been held to account for there actions. This is also worrying as the media, not the regulator, discovered this misconduct.
