Some drivers decide at the last minute that they want to exit from the motorway. They sometimes veer dangerously from lane two or even lane three into the nearside lane within a few yards of the exit lane.

Therefore some measure or legislation or additional road markings (such as Continuous white line) needs to be introduced to prevent vehicles crossing over from the middle lane "too late"
