We the undersigned call upon the Government to introduce a Green paper, within this Parliament, with a view to ending the heritance of all Titles in the peerage and baronetage, along with all rights, offices, privileges and precedence attaching thereto.
Whilst there is currently a Bill before Parliament to end gender discrimination in relation to the inheritance of Titles (http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/bills/lbill/2013-2014/0012/2014012.pdf) this only preserves an archaic class system out of step with a modern, multi cultural and democratic State.
