Sports people who are given knighthoods and other honours for doing a sport that they enjoy doing and are very well paid for doing should not be given honours at all in the future. Awards given to sports people should be given to nurses, doctors, ambulance, police, fire brigade and armd forces instead. And not the management either, those on the front line risking their lives for us ordinary British citizens.
