As in local government where those who pay council tax are entitle to vote for who controls expenditure of same so there is a significant need in central government for all those who pay tax to vote rather than those on benefits choose someone who will give them more of our tax.
It were quite possible that those on benefits with time to queue for a vote effectively choose our government hence the financial position within the country and the solution that tax payers pay more tax.
