If there is problem with the implementation of the LCP (Liverpool Care Pathway) management tool, then it is the implementation that should be improved. The only thing guaranteed to all of us is death and we deserve the right to die in a dignified manner. Suspension of the LCP denies a dying person a decent, peaceful death.

The public should be given the choice of the use of LCP when their time comes. Denying this is nothing short of barbaric.
