Rejected petition Stop speeding cars on birtwistle avenue!!

We need to put a stop to the rat run on birtwistle avenue!! People use this as a short cut off the north valley. We hav a large park at one end nursery and community centre in the middle and a school at the other end!! We need some kind of traffic calming measure to ensure the safety of our children. Only last week was an elderly man knocked down and is still in intensive care....... Please help!!
