Petition Review and restore HM Armed Forces
More details
The British people recognise that HM Armed Forces are no longer fully capable in terms of numbers and equipment.
As defence of the realm is the primary responsibility of HM Government, HM Government is censured for its failure in this respect.
Within the term of this Parliament, HM Armed Forces must be returned to full capability to an extent that is satisfactory to the British people.
The process must take place under the following conditions:
1) Monthly reports must be published of personnel numbers in the Army, the Royal Air Force, the Royal Marines and the Royal Navy.
2) Monthly reports must be published of the quantities, types and identification of equipment available to each branch of the Services.
3) Monthly reports must be published of contracts signed for equipment, the timescale of all new and all existing contracts and the progress toward actual supply.
HM Armed Forces shall have first call on the International Aid budget for equipment requirements.
