We, the traders and residents of Llanidloes, Powys urge HSBC bank NOT to go ahead with their decision to close the Llanidloes branch in September 2013. We expect HSBC to consider their social responsibilty very carefully, particularly towards individuals and businesses who would find it incredibly difficult to conduct their affairs via a post office, online or by travelling a round trip of 28 miles to the next HSBC branch in Newtown.
