Rejected petition Replace old underground lifts with spiral escalators

Many of London's underground stations are currently only served by archiac passenger lifts, which are incredibly cramped, hot and prone to failure. Since it is unvaible to totally rebuild most of these stations, this petition proposes that TFL replaces the lifts with compact spiral escalators like those designed by Charles Seeburger in 1900.
