Closed None parental partners income included in household income calculation

A non-parental partner's income should not be included in household income calculation with regards to child related benefits, such as working tax credits.

My partner is not my childs parent; all child related costs are mine to bare alone and therefore why should my partners income be considered.

The government should add this scenario to the calculations for a fairer system.
