Members of Parliament should see all future pay increases linked to the rate of increase of the take-home median level of pay in the United Kingdom to provide an incentive to improve the economic conditions of the country at large.

MP's with additional responsibilities, such as Government Ministers, should have any rises in additional pay for duties above the rate for sitting MP's linked to the a formula of service improvement and cost savings made by their department.

Pensions, expenses and other benefits should be calculated in line with standards for other civil servants.
