Closed ISP filters should not be set to On by default

A large section of the British population who practice spiritual or pagan religions and philosophies, who are doing nothing illegal whatsoever, could be affected by proposed changes to ISP regulations if the list of filtered topics includes 'esoteric' subject matter.We strongly urge the government to consider carefully the implications of a default setting of internet filters to On, when these cover a wide ranging list of topics which people may not be aware are included.

Free speech and free access to information are a matter of basic democratic process, and to remove these from those who have not unticked a box on a form is despicable.
