Closed petition Change the laws on sentencing for child killers and peadophiles

Closed on

To have laws changed to reflect the seriousness of the crime, to have the human rights issues attached to prisoners and convicts re examined in the light of cases such as Daniel Pelka.

The law only provides a shelter for the corrupt, housing wrong doers in a life where they are looked after better than a large majority of the country, where they can launch a case for mistreatment against the establishment which first put them there.

The blurred lines of justice are too muddied and need clarity and also a revision to suit the severity of the crime, not all murders are the same, those involving children should incur much more serious punishment.

If the law is founded on christian values then the law must adhere to them to some extent.

I urge all citizens to sign the petition to force government to climb down and properly react the people, an informed individual must make a stand and fight for the rights of those who have no rights.
