Closed Installation of Smart Meters should be banned

The current intention is to do a mandated installation of smart meters which will be capable of controlling your devices installed in the home and to remotely disconnect your electricity or gas supply.

The data collected will be transferred via your neighbours meters and will be capable of being intercepted.

It would also be possible to determine when you are at home or not. This data although subject to the Data Protection Act can still be accessed illegally.

I ask that you support my petition to prevent the installation of these intrusive devices in the home.
