Petition Stop blaming young girls for abuse by adult men

More details

This is a recurring problem where vulnerable children with existing problems are blamed for sexual abuse and men get away with light sentences even though they are the ADULT.
Clearly not all the details of the case are known here but the outcome reinforces that the responsibility for sexual abuse lies with the girl.

I am calling on all judges, prosecutors and policy makers involved in the judicial system to be more aware of gender bias, stereotyping and safeguarding issues. It is not acceptable to keep letting men off for violence against women and girls. Journalists need to be more responsible too.
