Closed petition Stop the persecution of Jeremy Forrest's "victim"

Closed on

We call on the Minister to:

(1) recognize that X (who cannot be named) has publicly asserted that she is a victim of abuse of power by the State, not Jeremy Forrest, and utterly rejects claims that he 'groomed' her for sex;

(2) demand that the Prison Service and Social Services recognize her right of self-determination at the age of 16;

(3) demand an immediate end to the prohibition on contact between X and Jeremy Forrest, and the restoration of her right to visit him in prison;

(4) order an independent investigation into the conduct of the trial judge who ignored vital evidence in mitigation that X had submitted to the Court, and denied her right to a fair hearing;

(5) apologize to X for the totality of her abuse and distress at the hands of public authorities.
