Closed petition Brechfa Wind Farm cables should be buried underground
Closed on
We the undersigned find it totally unacceptable that the proposed Brechfa Forest, Carmarthenshire, Wales, wind farm (s) National Grid connection should be made via an overhead line supported by wooden pylons. The environment of these, and other communities, should not be blighted by the visual impact of overhead cables. We ask the Energy Secretary to ensure that such connections are made underground in the UK.
Rydym ni, sydd wedi llofnodi isod, o’r farn mai cwbl annerbyniol yw’r bwriad i’r cysylltiad rhwng fferm(ydd) gwynt Fforest Brechfa, Sir Gaerfyrddin, Cymru, a’r Grid Cenedlaethol fod ar ffurf ceblau uwchben a gynhelir gan beilonau pren. Ni ddylid anharddu’r amgylchedd lle gosodir y peilonau, na chymunedau eraill, gan effaith weledol ceblau uwchben. Gofynnwn i’r Ysgrifennydd Ynni sicrhau bod cysylltiadau o’r fath yn cael eu gwneud yn danddaearol yn y Deyrnas Unedig.
