The proposed cut to one of Blackpool's two fire engines is due to government cuts to Lancashire Fire Service budget.

Longer response times will put the public and fire fighters LIVES in more danger.
Blackpool’s local homes and businesses will be put at a greater risk due to less fire engines and longer response times.

You are, already more likely to die or be injured in a fire in Blackpool than anywhere else in Lancashire and these proposed cuts can only increase the chance of this situation getting worse.
