Petition Students on a leave of absence should be entitled to benefits

As a student on a leave of absence you do not receive any student loans or financial support, however you are also not entitled to any benefits.

If we cannot find work we have no money at all and there is no safety net to catch us. This means students on leaves are being forced to live on nothing except their family's/friends' charity.

I want all students on leaves of absence to be acknowledged as "not in full-time education" and receive all the benefits available to someone in who is not a student.
