Rejected petition Not being able to get a job offshore as you have no experience

You ring these offshore companies ans you start talking to some and you send your cv etc spend over a thousand pound on offshore courses for them to say because you havent been on an oil rig before we cant take you. How we ment to gain experience of they wont let anyone new on them. I was a radio operator in iraq but thats not good enough. False hope they give you and your also out of pocket. What happends when all these people the work on their at present retire etc. No one will be their to cover them.
