I object to the Americanisation of the language, due mainly to the showing of American TV shows and films. I would like the government to agree that this Americanisation of the English language should be frowned upon and some action should be taken to uphold our native tongue. As it is regional accents are disappearing due to TV and so on. Let's try to at least hang on to our basic vocabulary!
