In this country roads stay closed for inordinate amounts of time for even the most minor of traffic incidents. In EVERY OTHER COUNTRY ON THE PLANET getting road traffic moving is the priority. Could it be that police overtime is the overriding factor for keeping roads closed as long as they can possibly get away with it? IT CERTAINLY APPEARS THAT WAY - KEEPING ROADS CLOSED DOES NOTHING EXCEPT WASTE HUGE AMOUNTS OF PRECIOUS FUEL AND TIME!
