Too many children face further abuse when they face cross examination in court by the lawyers or barristers for the accused. Polygraph use, as part of the process for gathering information, by the police should be used and the evidence that comes from them admissable in court. This would deter perpertrators from putting in a not guilty plea and it would protect those wrongly accused from an injustice.
