"C Frank" created this petition: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/41324 thinks that "Cyclists have every right to use the public."So where is the 120 - 400 + pounds VED that they should pay to use the space that us car drivers pay through the nose for
Also they have no insurance so if they cause a RTA the motorist is always blamed and that shoots the premium up.
this needs to stop!
I WANT THE UK GOVERNMENT to force cyclists to:

sit both a theory and practical test like drivers, insure themselves and their bike so they are liable if they cause a RTA and also that they must pay to upkeep the UK road network.

Make it an offence to ride a bike on ANY and ALL UK public roads and must stick to the lanes provided to them "OFF ROAD".

The UK government should then actually use the money paid by use motorists to fix UK roads. If not the next time i hit an unavoidable pot hole or ditch in the road my mechanics bill will be sent straight to number 10 downing street!!
