That Parliament abolish the current system of Local Government at City, Borough & District Council level and consolidate all powers within these bodies at County Council level.
This would reduce the enormous waste of taxpayers money that supports the multiplicity of CEO's in every authority in the UK who are paid at salary levels in excess of that payed to the Prime Minister, it would also mean that responsibility for mismanagement in local authority's would have a definitive area of culpability that could not be offloaded up or down to other local Government organisations.
