Rejected petition Funding of Jury Service
More details
To allow fair representation of society of jury's those who have salaries higher than the allowances should be allowed to 'off set' their earnings lost, above the allowances, against their tax (with relevant documentation to prove income for a period of time before jury service).
I was excused Jury Duty by applying to the courts on grounds of loss of income. This thus deprives the jury system of a representaive sample of society.
