Rejected petition Leicester Mercury campaign to keep Richard III where he belongs

More details

The remains of King Richard III, which were found by archaeologists from the University of Leicester under a car park in the city, and which have lain in Leicester for more than 500 years, should be reinterred at Leicester Cathedral, the nearest consecrated ground, in keeping with good archaeological practice and in accordance with the terms of the exhumation licence.
