Closed Petition to create a Stand Your Ground Law in the UK

A stand-your-ground law is a type of self-defence law that gives individuals the right to use any force necessary (including deadly force) to defend themselves from death or serious injury without any requirement to evade or retreat from a dangerous situation.

We, the undersigned, petition the government to introduce such a law to ensure that UK residents are not subject to arrest, prosecution and imprisonment for defending themselves against violent criminals both inside or outside of their homes.
