The Angler's Rest pub in the peak District village of Bamford has just been sold to a property developer (who intends to build high density housing on it).
Admiral Taverns has reneged on it's promise to sell to the community despite the BCS (Bamford Community Society) having raised sufficient funds to purchase the pub.

ON BEHALF OF ALL LOCAL COMMUNITIES WHO DON'T WANT THE LIFE SUCKED OUT OF THEIR VILLAGES....PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION and ask the government to support such local schemes.
