The Government must resist any media pressure to affect the judicial process, timescale, judgement and sentence of the two women recently apprehended in Peru for smuggling cocaine.
Further, should they be found guilty, no attempt should be made to secure a transfer to a British prison for any portion of their sentence or pressure applied for early release.
