Please amend the appropriate regulations, Is it Construction and Use of motor vehicles Act?

Please make it compulsory that new private cars sold in the UK MUST be supplied and fitted with a full size spare wheel fitted with the identical tyres as fitted as the road wheels of the vehicle.

Many owners and drivers fail to realise that there is no spare wheel with the car until they have an unexpected flat tyre.

Drivers do not want to be left stranded on the hard shoulder at 3 am and do not want to wait for two hours until help arrives.
