Make Members of Parliament debate the issues of the electorate.

E petitions raise awareness of important and genuine issues within our communities, but unfortunately due to the prohibitively high number of signatures needed to be considered for debate only a few petitions are actually heard.

To ensure that crucial problems are given the time and consideration they deserve I ask the Government to reduce the number of signatures needed to a figure of 25,000 for a petition to be considered for debate
