Closed Allow asthmatics into the military

The armed forces instantly disqualify applications from asthmatics despite fitness levels or severity of asthma.
If they can pass the fitness tests then asthmatics should have the choice of joining.

At 18 I tried to join the army, I played basketball & boxed competitively and was extremely fit. My inhalers would go out of date before they were used up as I only used them a couple times per year and only for comfort. Asthma has never stopped or even slowed me.
