Petition Exempt people with sickle cell and thalassaemia from prescription charges

Sickle Cell and Thalassemia patients should be included in the government’s review of prescriptions charges. Back in 2008 the minister said all life long illnesses should be exempt from prescriptions charges. Example of life long illnesses are Cancer, Diabetes and epilepsy to name a few. Sickle Cell and Thalassemia were never included. We urge the government to review prescription charges for people with sickle cell and thalassaemia.
