Rejected petition revert to using teacher submitted grades for a level results 2020

this is a call for the government to give all a level students their predicted grades as submitted by teachers earlier in the year. reverse the lowering of many grades across the uk impacted by the standardisation process, creating a fairer outcome for all students.

More details

the appeals place currently in place is incredibly flawed as many people don’t do mock exams and mock exam results are often significantly lower than what student achieve in the real exam. furthermore it is not fair to expect students to retake exams they wish to change the result of in the autumn as students haven’t studied or been in full time education for six months with the stress of the pandemic
