The number of foreign nationals in UK prisons is roughly 14%. As of 2011 the prison population of England and Wales was 87,673. The average cost per prisoner per year is £40,000. I call on our government to deport all foreign nationals convicted of a crime within the United Kingdom and put over £488,000,000 of taxpayers money to good use.
